Terms of service
Welcome to Madeline Project.
By placing an order, booking a flower preservation service, purchasing a product, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before placing your order.
1. Our Services
Madeline Project specializes in flower preservation, botanical art, resin artworks, handcrafted floral accessories, and custom keepsakes.
Our products may be made using natural flowers provided by Madeline Project or flowers supplied by the customer.
Each piece is individually handcrafted and may therefore have natural variations in appearance.
2. Flower Preservation
Flower preservation is a delicate process and the final result depends on several factors, including the type of flower, freshness, condition, moisture content, structure, and how the flowers respond to the preservation process.
While we use careful preservation techniques and quality materials, we cannot guarantee that preserved flowers will retain exactly the same color, shape, size, or appearance as when they were fresh.
Natural changes such as slight fading, darkening, translucency, shrinkage, or changes in texture may occur.
These variations are considered a natural part of flower preservation and are not considered defects.
3. Customer-Supplied Flowers
Customers are responsible for ensuring that flowers are delivered to Madeline Project in the agreed condition and within the recommended timeframe.
We recommend contacting us before sending your flowers so we can provide appropriate preparation and delivery instructions.
Upon receiving the flowers, we may assess their condition before beginning the preservation process.
If flowers arrive severely damaged, wilted, moldy, excessively wet, or otherwise unsuitable for preservation, we will contact the customer to discuss the available options.
Madeline Project cannot guarantee the preservation of flowers that arrive in unsuitable condition.
4. Custom Orders
Custom preservation artworks are created specifically for each customer.
Once the design, size, finishing, and other project details have been confirmed, changes requested by the customer may result in additional costs or changes to the production timeline.
Due to the handmade nature of our work, the final artwork may differ slightly from reference images or initial design concepts.
We aim to preserve the character and natural beauty of the customer's flowers while creating the best possible composition.
5. Production Time
Flower preservation projects generally require approximately 3–4 months from the date we receive the flowers.
The production timeline may vary depending on the flower type, preservation method, flower condition, artwork size, design complexity, and other factors.
The estimated production time does not include shipping or delivery time.
6. Payment
Payment terms will be provided at the time of quotation or checkout.
For custom flower preservation projects, production will only begin once the required payment or deposit has been received.
Any remaining balance must be settled according to the payment terms provided before the completed artwork is shipped or collected.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Because flower preservation and custom artworks involve materials and labor specifically prepared for each customer, deposits or payments for confirmed custom orders may be non refundable once production has begun.
If you need to cancel or modify an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Refund eligibility will depend on the stage of production and the specific circumstances of the order.
Ready to wear products non refundable.
8. Product Photography & Color
We make every effort to photograph and display our products as accurately as possible.
However, colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and the natural characteristics of the flowers.
For preserved flowers, variations in color and appearance are expected and form part of the uniqueness of each piece.
9. Resin & Material Disclaimer
Our resin artworks are handcrafted using resin and other materials selected for their suitability for floral preservation and decorative use.
Although premium materials and appropriate finishing techniques are used, resin may naturally undergo subtle changes over time due to factors such as UV exposure, heat, humidity, and environmental conditions.
To help maintain your artwork, keep it away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, and harsh chemicals.
10. Care of Your Artwork
Proper care is important to maintain the beauty of your preserved flowers and resin artwork.
We recommend:
-
Keep your artwork away from direct sunlight.
-
Avoid high temperatures and excessive humidity.
-
Do not place resin artworks near heat sources.
-
Avoid prolonged exposure to water or moisture.
-
Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth.
-
Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products.
Detailed care instructions may be provided with your finished artwork.
11. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping terms are outlined in our Shipping Policy.
Shipping fees are generally not included in the product price unless otherwise stated.
For customer-supplied flowers, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for delivery of the flowers to Madeline Project.
For completed preservation artworks, delivery or collection arrangements will be confirmed before dispatch.
12. Damaged or Lost Shipments
We carefully package our products before shipment.
Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delays, loss, or damage during transit may occur.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the package, packaging, and product so we can assess the situation and assist you.
13. Intellectual Property
All photographs, artwork, product designs, written content, branding, logos, and other materials displayed on the Madeline Project website and social media channels are owned by or licensed to Madeline Project unless otherwise stated.
They may not be copied, reproduced, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission.
14. Photography of Custom Orders
Madeline Project may photograph completed artworks for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes.
If you prefer your artwork or flowers not to be photographed or shared publicly, please let us know before or during the order process.
15. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, pricing, availability, and other information on our website are accurate and up to date.
